ITG-GmbH Internationale Spedition is founded by Günther Jocher and Herbert P. Baum at its first location at the Munich-Riem airport.
1.3.1992
Driven by the continuously growing business volume in the field of contract logistics a separate company, ITG-GmbH Logistik + Distribution, is established to serve this field.

Saying farewell to the former Munich airport in Munich-Riem: The air freight and ocean freight divisions are relocated and move into their new office premises in the cargo terminal of the new "Franz-Josef-Strauß" airport located in the Erdinger Moos, in the North of Munich. The company headquarters as well as the land transport and logistics divisions, on the other hand, are relocated to a larger terminal in Garching-Hochbrück in the North of Munich.

Foundation of ITG International Transports BV, Netherlands.

Establishment of our American subsidiary ITG International Transports, Inc. in Boston / USA.

Foundation of ITG-GmbH Internationale Spedition in Vienna / Austria.

Takeover of IWT - Interworld Transport GmbH.

As a result of a strong expansion, in particular in the logistics business area, the Munich branch was split up and transferred to  six different locations in Munich. This prompted the company management to resolve on the construction of a completely new logistics centre in order to accommodate all divisions under one roof. The transfer to the new location in Schwaig, directly adjacent to the airport was launched in 1998 and completed in February 1999 with the relocation of the headquarters.

The contract logistics division continues to grow, a fact that calls for the provision of additional warehouse space. Move-in to the second logistics centre in the AIRPORT BUSINESS PARK which offers an additional 42,000 sq.m. of space, directly adjacent to the existing estate.
1.12.2004
After moving into the AIRPORT LOGISTIC CENTER roughly 30,000 sq.m. of additional logistics space is available for ITG in Schwaig. In doing so, the Munich location has grown into a logistics campus that covers approx. 100,000 sq. m. of available storage space.
1.1.2006
The founders and active partners of the company, Günther Jocher and Herbert P. Baum, sell their shares and leave the company, in order to fully concentrate their strengths on the logistics and industrial property business. Reinhard Rank is appointed as the new general manager.
1.4.2006
ITG celebrates its 25th anniversary.
1.10.2006
The Rotterdam branch moves into new and larger logistics facilities.
