As official rules by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) for the explaination of trade terms the Incoterms® have established as one of the most important basics in the international commerce. Since January 1st an acual version is valid. Incoterms® rules define the responsibilities of buyers and sellers for the delivery of goods under sales contracts. They are the authoritative rules for determining how costs and risks are allocated to the parties.
