Today, the transport of goods by air freight<\/a> is a fully integrated part of modern procurement and distribution logistics. Goods are available within the shortest possible time, regardless of the location from or to which they are to be transported. In doing so, we meet the regulatory requirements at all our locations. In Germany we have the status of „Regulated Agent“, in the USA we are certified as customs broker.<\/p>\n

Maritime shipping already has a long tradition in cross-border intercontinental traffic. And so, even today, sea freight transports are an indispensable component for world trade. The introduction of standardized containers has made it possible to achieve ever greater efficiency, and the use of state-of-the-art ships has increased speed and capacity.<\/p>\n

In the sea freight<\/a> sector, cooperation with reliable partners is crucial. Selecting the right shipping method for each product, including pre-carriage and on-carriage, including customs clearance, is a task that ITG’s sea freight specialists face every day. We work with carefully selected shipping companies and partners who, together with us, guarantee optimum handling for both shipper and consignee.<\/p>\n

In cooperation with our partners in Asia, ITG offers the possibility to transport containers overland by rail to or from Asia. The „China-Europe International Block Train“ is a rail connection from China to Europe that was launched back in 2008. Due to its positioning between air and sea freight, this product has since developed into a real alternative to the classic modes of transport.<\/p>\n

With 6 departures per week and transit times of around 20 days door-to-door (transit time hub\/hub only 15-16 days), this means a halving of transit time compared to sea freight.<\/p>\n
