Already for the sixth time Lufthansa Cargo has awarded its "Quality Award for the German market" in six different categories. ITG GmbH Internationale Spedition + Logistik gained the victory in two categories.

For the third time in four years ITG scored no. 1 for quality and won the coveted LH Cargo Q-Award! After the victory in 2013 and a second place in 2014, last year's title could now be defended. And also in the combined category of "quality and eCargo" the first place went to ITG - so this year ITG reached a double win!

"We are very proud to have now won this award for the third time in four years. Our thanks go especially to the teams in the stations, which provide with their conscientious work every day a valuable contribution, not only to satisfy the customers, but also with the airlines to optimally work together. Through this interaction in the transport chain best performances are generated ", rejoiced Holger Funk, Managing Director Forwarding of ITG, at the award ceremony.
"For Lufthansa Cargo quality is high on the agenda. With our quality awards we want to recognize the efforts of our partners and also set an incentive for further improvements. The closer we coordinate our efforts with each other, the better the common quality can get, "said J. Florian Pfaff, Lufthansa Cargo Vice President Area Management Germany, Europe and Africa.

Lufthansa Cargo rewards the two customer groups "Top 40" and "Forwarders with over 10,000 airwaybills" each in three categories. In the category "quality" different parameters for compliance with delivery and timeliness of delivery will be assessed. The 2014 introduced "eCargo Award" recognizes the rapid expansion of digital processes between freight forwarders and airline. For the award "Quality and eCargo" the best combined performance is critical.
